Composting with Worms
Worm composting is a great way to turn your kitchen scraps into a nutrient rich food for your plants without the odor of other composting methods. Worm castings are the best organic fertilizer that you can find. It will not harm well water or nearby streams like chemical based fertilizers Worm composting can be done both indoors (great for apartment dwellers!) or in your backyard. Starting a small worm farm (or worm bin) of your own is a great way to get your own constant supply of worm castings. We collect worm casting from all our worms that we raise.
We feed all our worms the same feed and raise them in 60 to 80 degree temperatures.
